    Balboa 101: Recap and Practice

Join us for a Balboa 101 Recap & Practice!

Beginners welcome! This is a followup and continuation of our Ruth and Mike Balboa Workshop on September 21. We'll be reviewing the basic steps of Pure Balboa and Bal-Swing that were covered in the workshop. We’ll practice the down- and up-hold basics, the come-around, toss out, lollies, and more!

Cost: $10 general/$8 students with ID for each class

Class will be held DOWNSTAIRS at the Champlain Club from 6:30 - 7:30 pm for FIVE Tuesdays, October 1, 8, 15, 22, and 29.

No partner necessary. Some dance experience helpful, but swing dance not required. This is a close-embrace dance; torso-to-torso contact is a required position and frame for Balboa dancing.

Please bring a change of clean, soft-soled, non-marking shoes to protect your knees and our wooden dance floor.
