August- Beginning Swing Class

In this class you’ll learn the basics of swing dancing with your teachers, Jessie and Eric!

You’ll get moving to big band and swing music, learn how to communicate through lead and follow connection and get lots of practice with 6 count footwork. This class is great for beginning level swing students with any amount of experience (or no experience), no partner necessary. We’ll make sure to do something a bit different than last month so there will be something new for repeating students too!

Your class fee includes free admission to our Practice Dance that starts at 8pm right after class! Let’s practice those new moves!

• Class run from 7pm-8pm, every Tuesday in August.
• This is a series class. Please plan to start August 5th and come the whole month!
• Please arrive 15 minutes early to ensure time for parking and shoe changing.
• Please bring clean shoes that won’t track in grit or leave black heel marks.
• Parking is limited; plan to park on nearby streets and walk to the North Star Hall at 20 Crowley Street.
