Step into the smooth, stylish world of Charleston with your teachers Jessie and Eric!
In this class, you’ll explore Charleston as a shared conversation—using rhythm, momentum, and playful partner communication to create dances that feel natural, musical, and alive. We’ll focus on responsiveness, creativity, and finding ways to “talk” through movement while keeping the energy and spirit that make Charleston so much fun. No partner necessary, just bring your curiosity and love of movement! ✨
Your class fee includes free admission to our Practice Dance that starts at 8pm right after class! Let’s practice those new moves!
- This is a series class. Please plan to come the whole month!
- Please arrive 15 minutes early to ensure time for parking and shoe changing.
- Please bring clean shoes that won’t track in grit or leave black heel marks.
- Parking is limited; plan to park on nearby streets and walk to the North Star Hall at 20 Crowley Street.
