Classes & Workshops

Check out our current and upcoming dance classes listed below. Students taking any weekday class can attend our Weekly Tuesday Open Dance for FREE.

What class should I take?
Beginning Swing is different every month.  Week 1 will get you oriented to swing dance footwork, rhythms and partner connection, and we will build on those skills throughout the month.  We encourage people to take these classes for 1-6 months.
Other classes expect you to be familiar with the skills learned in Beginning Swing.  If you are not sure if you are ready for a class, check in with the instructor or email us to ask.

This will be an overview and introduction class, so expect to learn some parts in class, and take other parts home to keep working on. In the second class we'll dig into some of the details of the Shim Sham. This will be a follow-up, and a time to get more in depth on some of the footwork and transitions. Come out and learn why "The shim sham shimmy is fun to do".
